I dedicated Feathers in the Sand (Seahaven Sunrise Book 1) to my older brothers John and Joe, because of the special relationship that Eva has with her big brother Micah. I know a lot about big brother-little sister good relationships!
For Sea Glass Memories, I decided to make the dedication a little broader:
For those who know firsthand
that grief is the price we pay for loving.
May you honor and tend to
the bruised space in your heart
that holds the memories
of those you feel but cannot see.
I am imagining that everyone who opens Sea Glass Memories knows—in some capacity—a measure of grief, no matter how minute or immense. So… this story is for you! I promise it will be a lovely reminder of how resilient you are, and how you don’t have to feel your sorrow the way others expect you to, but only the way that feels right to YOU.
